Sketch Party

In this 4-week course students will learn basic drawing techniques to rapidly to sketch from observation and imagination. Students will learn how to study and practice art techniques to implore in their own style. They will train the connection between their mind, eyes, and hands, through repetition, guidance, and challenges. Join in the fun and get sketching!

Art Habits

Introduction to tools and materials. Building routines that will set a solid foundation for independent skill development.

Form and Perspective

Using basic shapes and simple perspective techniques to render sketches of 3D objects and scenery.

Gesture and Character

Utilization of basic anatomy to render the human figure. Explore line of action to create dynamic poses that tell a story.

Summer Session

• In person meeting once a week.
